RUHR UNIVERSITY BOCHUM
MITIME is coordinated by a consortium that brings together leading scholars in migration, urban, and social studies from seven of Europe’s foremost universities. The network integrates expertise across anthropology, sociology, geography, international relations, and political science to advance innovative, interdisciplinary research on migration, temporality, and urban inequality.

Collectively, the consortium’s team of supervisors have extensive experience in comparative migration research, international collaboration, and doctoral training. Together, they provide rigorous academic supervision and mentorship, fostering an environment that supports intellectual exchange, theoretical and methodological innovation, and the professional development of early-career researchers.
